We had so much fun in 2023 that Neighborhood Restaurant Group Partner and Beverage Director, Greg Engert, will once again offer the ChurchKey Beer Academy - a course in craft beer! The 2024 offering will remain digital, with a quarterly 1.5-hour Zoom class covering a range of topics and accompanied by 8 delicious brews each and every time.

What You’ll Get

Don’t miss the chance to drink both rare and classic brews while being schooled on four distinct topics. Greg will explore the histories and traditions of each subject while touching on tasting notes and food pairings. He will also have some of his closest friends from the brewing industry join in to shed light on their creations.

ChurchKey Beer Academy Yearly Membership - ($175)

• There are 4 classes per year and each class will be accompanied by 8 different bottles and cans that relate to the specific course. Each student will receive 32 beers from around the world, over the course of the year.

• American Craft Classics: A Collection of Celebrated Brews from the Old School

• The Beers of Germany: From Weissbier to Lager & Beyond

• Big & Small: Showcasing the Possibilities of Session Beers & Strong Ales

• Farmhouse Beers: A Global Look at Saison, Biere de Garde & More

Each class will be held quarterly and will be recorded for future viewing by all Beer Academy students.

All Beer Academy members also receive:

• An introductory syllabus card with further details on the club for 2024

All ChurchKey Beer Academy beer allotments will be available for pickup at Bluejacket (Washington, DC), Rustico Alexandria (Alexandria, VA) or Rustico Ballston (Arlington, VA), ChurchKey, B-Side (Mosaic Fairfax), Shelter (The Roost DC), Planet Wine (Del Ray), and The Sovereign.
