The Real Ellen Yin,
Co-Founder

A Passion for Excellence

Ellen Yin has over 21 years of experience as an owner/
operator of multiple restaurants in Philadelphia. In
2014, she formed HSHG with Chef Eli Kulp to manage
the day to day operations of a.kitchen + a.bar within
AKA Rittenhouse Square, an extended long-term
stay residence and hotel and in 2015, HSHG became
managing partner of High Street on Hudson. All her
restaurants have received high ratings from the press
including Fork (4 bells, 4-time semifinalist for JBF
Outstanding Restaurant); High Street on Market (3 bells,
2014 Bon Appetit Best New Restaurant); a.kitchen (3
bells, 2-time Top Wine Restaurants, Wine Enthusiast)
and High Street on Hudson (2 stars, NYT; Michelin
Bib Gourmande). Ellen was a finalist for JBF 2018 and
2019, Outstanding Restaurateur, among a slew of other
accolades. Yin also holds an MBA from the Wharton
School of Business.

Culinary Director

Eli Kulp is co-founder and Culinary Director of
HSHG. He has been a finalist for JBF Best Chef,
Mid-Atlantic, 2016; Best New Chef, Food & Wine
Magazine 2014; Chef of the Year, Eater 2014 and
Philadelphia Inquirer.
His culinary expertise has enabled him to build
a team of professionals at all locations that
have performed at the highest level, making the
aforementioned accolades possible.
Currently, Eli is the creator and host of Chef Radio
Podcast where he talks to top-tier chefs and other
guests in the industry.

High Street is one of Philadelphia’s most innovative concepts. Formerly High Street on Market, we moved in 2020 from long time Market Street location, adjacent to our flagship Fork, to Washington Square West’s historic Franklin Building on Jefferson Campus.

We are a bakery and restaurant serving Philly’s best sandwiches, handmade pastas, killer pizzas, the prettiest salads, and local products – all for take out and delivery. High Street continues to grow its artisanal bakery, recognized by Tiptree World Bread Awards as having some of the best breads in the country. You’ll see us at Headhouse Market, Heirloom Markets and Sisterly Love Food Fairs all over the City. Representing local growers and purveyors, our culinary program is a standout in Philadelphia.

When will I be charged my membership fee?

We charge your credit card the day you sign up. The recurring charge is billed every 30 days from the day you signed up.

Can I cancel or suspend my membership?

Absolutely, you can login to your account and pause or cancel with one click at any time.

Is Table22 a secure payments platform?

We leverage the industry leader Stripe to manage payments. Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry.
