  • When you subscribe to the Seylou Baker’s Box, you’ll experience one-of-a-kind breads, croissants, pastries, arlettes, cookies, teas, coffees, and more from D.C.’s first and only bakery that operates an in-house mill and sources wheats, legumes, and grains from local farms. Baker Jonathan Bethony oversees the breadmaking, milling the grains, fermenting the starter, forming the breads, and baking them in an imported wood-fired oven.

  • When can I get my goods | If you sign up within a given calendar month (or have a recurring charge on a given month), you will be eligible to receive goods in the next month. For example, if you signed up in October, the first month you’ll be eligible to receive your subscription goods will be November, etc.

    When do I get billed | When you sign up for a subscription, you will have a recurring membership. Your first charge will occur on the day you sign up, and you will have a recurring charge every subsequent month (unless you pause or cancel your subscription)

    How do I manage my subscription | After signing up, you can manage your subscription at Table22 Member Portal, where you can skip a month, pause your subscription, cancel or update billing & other account information with the click of a button!

    How do I get my goods | You will receive an email and text message at the beginning of the month confirming your delivery date.

Who You’re Supporting

Jonathan and Jessica, husband and wife duo, started Seylou in 2017. Jonathan's extensive study and work in the San Francisco Bay area and the Washington State University Bread Lab prepared him to open a whole grain, locally sourced fresh milled sourdough bakery on the East Coast closer to their families.

Jonathan's passion for bread and local grains began on a trip to Senegal in 2007, and provided the inspiration for what is now Seylou. The word Seylou is the name of an eagle in the Senegal region. Senegal is a place that Jonathan continues to visit and support to this day and is home to many dear friends.

When will I be charged my membership fee?

We charge your credit card the day you sign up. The recurring charge is billed every 30 days from the day you signed up.

Can I cancel or suspend my membership?

Absolutely, you can login to your account and pause or cancel with one click at any time.

Is Table22 a secure payments platform?

We leverage the industry leader Stripe to manage payments. Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry.
