About Call Your Mother

Call Your Mother is a neighborhood bagel shop and deli with a mission to create extraordinary moments for everyday life. It has become a destination for playful, nostalgic, comfort food with serious flavor… and with carbs at the center of it all.
Owned by chef Daniela Moreira and Andrew Dana, along with partner Jeff Zients, we began at farmer’s markets before opening our first location in the fall of 2018 in DC’s Park View neighborhood. Signature bagels (with a hint of honey!) are the center of it all, along with creative bagel sandwiches and “Jew-ish” deli favorites. Both Andrew and Jeff are Jewish; their nostalgia of the eclectic food from their childhood and family traditions inspired the genesis of our menu. Dani is from Argentina and she brings a love of her family’s campsite cooking and bold flavors to the mix.

For a Bagel with Schmear & Fixin’s

Your weekend brunch plans just got a whole lot easier. When you become a member of Call Your Mother Nosh Box you receive a supply of the best bagels in DC, plus all of the fixin’s you need to create your perfect bagel sandwich. Members get a freshly baked batch of varying bagel flavors, alongside all house-made cream cheeses, and optionally smoked fishes, and chopped veggies. Plus a helpful tip - freeze some of your batch of bagels so you can defrost and enjoy them as you please!

Sample box may include:

Bagels - plain sesame, everything, za’atar, cheddar, cinnamon raisin, maple salt & pepper
- Schmearz - garlic herb, seasonal cream cheese, candied salmon, smoked salmons, whitefish salad
- Fixin’s - tomato, capers, jalapeños, pickled onions
& much more!

How it Works

When can I get my goods | If you sign up within a given calendar month (or have a recurring charge on a given month), you will be eligible to receive goods in the next month. For example, if you signed up in March, the first month you’ll be eligible to receive your subscription goods will be April, etc.

When do I get billed | When you sign up for a subscription, you will have a recurring membership. Your first charge will occur on the day you sign up, and you will have a recurring charge every subsequent month (unless you pause or cancel your subscription)

How do I manage my subscription | After signing up, you can manage your subscription at Table22 Member Portal, where you can skip a month, pause your subscription, cancel or update billing & other account information with the click of a button!

How do I get my goods | If you select pick up, you will receive an email and text message at the beginning of the month confirming the pick up date and location and inviting you to schedule a pick up slot. Please select your pickup location at checkout. If you select delivery, you will receive an email and text message at the beginning of the month confirming your delivery date.
