About Candle in the Woods

Chef Dave Adlard is an award winning chef who has been cooking literally since he was a child. His enthusiasm and love of cooking is evident in his cuisine. Besides his work at Candle in the Woods, he is a regular guest chef at various food festivals and developed the acclaimed “Mise en Place” Culinary Kid’s Academy at the Culinary Stone.

An active person, Dave wears many hats beyond that of chef. He has a very health conscious outlook in the preparation of his meals while keeping the flavor and taste as his main goals. The Candle uses fresh, organic, local ingredients wherever possible, and the cuisine transcends easy definition, being best defined as “contemporary, modern and original,” based on the best ingredients in season.

Candle in the Woods also boasts a robust wine cellar allowing a complete dining experience in which the nuances of the cellar’s wines can pair perfectly with Chef’s inspired and daily menus.

When you become a member of Candle in the Woods Tasting Series you’ll receive a rustic 4-course menu that is created to surprise, delight, and set you up for an evening of casual elegance. With exquisitely detailed dishes, the menu evolves alongside seasonally available ingredients, so you are enjoying the finest and freshest selection crafted into an extraordinary meal. Chef Dave enjoys nothing more than people gathering around to enjoy great food, so he takes the utmost care in making sure that each dish is prepared specially for you.

How it Works

When can I get my goods | If you sign up within a given calendar month (or have a recurring charge on a given month), you will be eligible to receive goods in the next month. For example, if you signed up in January, the first month you’ll be eligible to receive your subscription goods will be February, etc.

When do I get billed | When you sign up for a subscription, you will have a recurring membership.  Your first charge will occur on the day you sign up, and you will have a recurring charge every subsequent month (unless you pause or cancel your subscription) 

How do I manage my subscription | After signing up, you can manage your subscription at Table22 Member Portal, where you can skip a month, pause your subscription, cancel or update billing & other account information with the click of a button!

How do I get my goods | If you select pick up, you will receive an email and text message at the beginning of the month confirming the pick up date and inviting you to schedule a pick up slot. If you select delivery, you will receive an email and text message at the beginning of the month confirming your delivery date.
