We are Chama Mama - Classic Georgian cuisine with a modern spin! Bringing Georgian flavors and traditions to New York City from over 5,500 miles away. We are excited to introduce you to our three key ingredients that help lay the foundation for Georgian cuisine and Chama Mama as a restaurant: the tone, khachapuri, and the qvevri!

Tamara Chubinidze, who runs Chama Mama, was born in Tbilisi, Georgia’s capital, and moved to New York in 1996 as a teenager. Chama Mama is more than just a business for Chubinidze; it aims at bringing the culture, cuisine and winemaking tradition of Georgians to the USA.
