When you join the new Jo’s Thai Dinner Club, you’ll enjoy a new way to experience the best of this award-winning restaurant through an exciting at-home dinner series delivered right to your door. Each month, Chef Intu & her team will curate a rotating multi-course meal for 2 or for 4 people, featuring a combination of signature dishes, new seasonal specials, and surprise off-menu chef’s creations.
All meals come fully prepared with accompanying reheating instructions — simply assemble & serve!

First to know about new membership offerings

When can I get my goods | If you sign up within a given calendar month (or have a recurring charge on a given month), you will be eligible to receive goods in the next month. For example, if you signed up in March, the first month you’ll be eligible to receive your subscription goods will be April, etc.
When do I get billed | When you sign up for a subscription, you will have a recurring membership. Your first charge will occur on the day you sign up, and you will have a recurring charge every subsequent month (unless you pause or cancel your subscription)
How do I manage my subscription | After signing up, you can manage your subscription at Table22 Member Portal, where you can skip a month, pause your subscription, cancel or update billing & other account information with the click of a button!
How do I get my goods | If you select pick up, you will receive an email and text message at the beginning of the month confirming the pick up date and inviting you to schedule a pick up slot. If you select delivery, you will receive an email and text message at the beginning of the month confirming your delivery date.

Welcome to Jo's Modern Thai, a culinary haven located in the vibrant city of Oakland, California. Established in 2021 by owner Kao Saelee and guided by the culinary prowess of Chef Intu, this remarkable restaurant offers a contemporary twist on the captivating flavors of Thai cuisine.
Kao Saelee, a proud native of the Laurel District, has deep roots in the community where Jo's Modern Thai has made its home. This passion led him to his family's cherished restaurant in nearby Berkeley, the beloved Racha Cafe. For over 16 years, Kao dedicated himself to honing his craft and cultivating a deep understanding of the culinary arts.
Inspired by the success and warmth of Racha Cafe, Kao embarked on a new venture, Jo's Modern Thai, bringing his extensive knowledge and love for Thai food to the heart of Oakland. Named after his wife, who he introduced Thai food to, this restaurant is dedicated to the love they both have for the cuisine.
Leading the kitchen is the exceptionally talented Chef Intu. Born and raised in northeast Thailand, Chef Intu's culinary journey began in her own family's kitchen. Learning traditional techniques and treasured family recipes from her aunties and parents, she developed a deep appreciation for Thai cooking. Seeking to broaden her horizons and refine her skills, Chef Intu ventured to the United States, where she had the privilege of working under some of the industry's most renowned chefs including Kris Yenbamroong, Jeremy Fox, and Pim Techamuanvivit.
Chef Intu's extensive experience and profound understanding of Thai cuisine shine through in every dish she creates. With a deft touch and an innate ability to harmonize flavors, she expertly brings together the bold and delicate, the spicy and soothing, the traditional and modern elements of Thai cuisine.
Together, Kao Saelee and Chef Intu form the dynamic duo at Jo's Modern Thai, united by their shared passion for Thai cuisine, their dedication to providing an exceptional dining experience, and love for community, reinvesting into the small businesses and farmers around them.
