About Slab Barbeque
The best barbecue takes time — and the story of SLAB is years in the making. It begins in the heart of Texas, where Burt Bakman, an Israeli immigrant, found his calling as a pitmaster. A quick trip to the Lone Star State turned into a chance exploration of barbecue at its source, fostering a lifelong obsession in him to perfect the craft. Not a man to settle for second-best, Bakman determined to become one of the “greats” at smoking meat. SLAB is the brainchild of Bakman and the h.wood Group. The team agreed that whatever was to come would not only have to be dedicated to the best quality brisket and ribs, but would need to be faithful to the elbow-rubbing charm of Bakman’s backyard barbecue.

Members of the Slab Pitmaster’s Series receive a barbecue-centric tasting menu each month around a curated protein selection, straight from the pit. Paired alongside signature sides, round out your whole meal how you prefer - enjoy it together or separate or even make it a sandwich with all the fixings. You’ll also receive specials that are only offered at certain times of the week - like the unbeatable house smoked pastrami, usually only available for a limited time on Mondays.Experience the full depth of Pitmaster Burt’s smoked meat expertise with a new curated menu each month, exclusive to our Table22 members.

How it Works
When can I get my goods | If you sign up within a given calendar month (or have a recurring charge on a given month), you will be eligible to receive goods in the next month. For example, if you signed up in January, the first month you’ll be eligible to receive your subscription goods will be February, etc.
When do I get billed | When you sign up for a subscription, you will have a recurring membership. Your first charge will occur on the day you sign up, and you will have a recurring charge every subsequent month (unless you pause or cancel your subscription)
How do I manage my subscription | After signing up, you can manage your subscription at Table22 Member Portal, where you can skip a month, pause your subscription, cancel or update billing & other account information with the click of a button!
How do I get my goods | If you select pick up, you will receive an email and text message at the beginning of the month confirming the pick up date and inviting you to schedule a pick up slot. If you select delivery, you will receive an email and text message at the beginning of the month confirming your delivery date.
